For a bedroom, choose light for the activity: readable light beside a book, lower ambient light for a quiet evening, and a small separate light for moving around at night. No single RGB colour is a universal best choice or a treatment for sleep problems.
Warm white is not the same as red RGB
Colour temperature describes the appearance of white light. Both 2700K and 3000K are warm-white choices, with 2700K generally appearing more yellow. A red RGB setting is coloured light, not simply a lower white-light colour temperature. Judge the result on the actual walls and bedding rather than relying on an app colour swatch.
Plan three separate uses
Keep a reading light close enough to the book to make the page legible without shining directly at the other side of the bed. For general evening light, adjust brightness and placement as well as colour. For a route to the door, place a suitable night light where it illuminates the floor rather than your face. Keep cables and fittings out of the walking route.
Compare current product types
The D2 table lamp is a colour-adjustable accent option. The rechargeable sensor night light is a different type of product for automatic light when its sensor conditions are met. A strip can add light around furniture, but an extension needs its matching standard kit. Choose each product for its own controls and installation requirements; do not assume that a bedside location adds a sunrise mode or a health benefit.
Try the room before fixing the final layout
Test with the furniture in its normal position and at the brightness you actually use. Check the view from the pillow as well as from the doorway. If you prefer darkness while sleeping, decorative lighting can be switched off; it need not remain on to complete the room design.

Frequently asked questions
Is red light guaranteed to improve sleep?
No. A decorative RGB lamp is not a sleep treatment. Choose lighting for comfort and practical use, and seek appropriate advice for ongoing sleep difficulties.
Is 3000K brighter than 2700K?
Not by definition. Kelvin describes white-light appearance; lumens and the actual installation determine light output and distribution.
Can I use a strip extension on its own?
No. Use an extension only with the matching standard kit and the power equipment specified for that model.
